Our April 8th John Lake Rink Fundraiser was a HUGE success; larger than we could have ever imagined! We officially had a sellout 5 days before the event and more tickets were purchased to this event than our previous 3 steak nights.

We want to thank everyone who bought a ticket and your incredible generosity at the event with the purchase of  50/50, raffle/door prize tickets and silent auction bids. Every cent we raised that night goes to the John Lake Rink Rebuild beginning this summer!

The night would not have been a triumph without our donors; businesses, individuals, anonymous, home-based, local and even some from outside Saskatoon made this evening the overwhelming success it was.

Sarcan Fundraiser

Did you know that the Avalon Community Association has an ongoing fundraiser at all Saskatoon Sarcan locations?

All funds raised go to the John Lake Rink Rebuild and it is so easy to donate!

Head into your closest Sarcan location with your donations and go to the “Drop N Go” computer. Enter in the password [email protected] then enter in how many bags/boxes you wish to donate, the computer will print out tags for those items, place the tags on your donations and then follow instructions regarding where to leave your donation and you are done! The ACA will receive 98% of your donation. To date we have received almost $800 towards this fundraiser; our goal is $1000 before the rebuild starts in Spring 2022. So next time you are helping out the environment by taking in your recycling please consider donating to your community rink! Thank you!
